Hallo, Amsterdam

This was a total last minute trip for me. I'm broke but both of them convinced me that it won't cost more than EU200. So I said yes. And I ended up having so much fun. Amsterdam was nice but busy. Most of the places were crowded with tourists like us. Well yeah, what would you expect?
Too bad we missed canal tour due to the very cold weather. Maybe next time.

Willkommen in Heidelberg

My parents dropped by from Zurich; desperately to see where I live for the past few years. So, I took them to Heidelberg first on the way to my place from Frankfurt.
I haven't never been to the castle all this while, so I thought this would be the perfect time to go see it myself. But again I didn't make it to the top due to the cold weather.
Lesson learned: Don't ever travel during winter unless you can take the cold weather. Well, I know I won't be seeing my parents around here again on winter! Yes, summer will be fine.

Love, London : Part II

Day 2. Oxford Street. Shopping. At GAP. I could have spent the whole day there!
At noon, the driver fetched us for another sightseeing around London. We went to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Eye and Tower Bridge. Lucky enough, we saw the bridge opened to let a ship through. But it delayed our journey to half an hour. By the time we reached Oxford Street again, it was already 6pm. It wasn't enough time to go through all the shops along the way so I went straight to Regent Street to find the famous Apple store. And I found it!! That was absolutely the best moment after walking around London the whole day. Seronok giler!!!
So I missed sale at UCB. I didn't get a chance to shop at Topshop since it was already closed. I definitely need one whole day for shopping next time. Oh yes, there will be next time. Soon.
Anyway,I had a blast. I heart London.
Note: Due to the very cold weather, some of the night shots appear quite shaky.

Love, London : Part I

When mom asked me if I could join them in London this month, I was so over the moon! London, baby!
I took off from Frankfurt to Heathrow at 3pm and arrived one and half hour later. Man, was I excited! Rushing to international terminal, I finally got to see my mom and dad who just arrived with dad's other collegues.
Then we checked in at the Holiday Inn and ate mee goreng mamak and teh tarik in Malaysia Hall. Boleh la tahan tapi mahal seh. My dad was supposed to go to Birmingham the next day but the trip got cancelled. We went to Oxford instead. I know there's a factory outlet nearby so the driver took us there and at the end of the day, he stopped by at Stratford for sightseeing.
That people, would be the end of Day 1.

Me and Berliness

Berlin, the biggest city in Germany. Huge! I love Berlin.
As promised, I came to visit Fina last few days at her new place. She and Add are now doing internship there so it would be a perfect time for a visit. To be honest, I wouldn't be travel this far if it wasn't because of her. The journey itself took 6 hours!!And that's ICE, man! Like the fastest train they have!
But anyway, it was worth the time. And money. Thanks a lot.
I missed her already.

These are photos from my last vacation with my parents. We went to Rome, Venice, Florance, Monaco, Cannes and last but not least, Nice. My flight took off from Stuttgart to Rome and from there, we rode tour bus all the way to all the places mentioned. It was quite boring travelling by bus but definitely fascinating for my parents. Overall, the trip was nice. I just hope next time if I get a chance, I make it to all the famous landmarks that I missed.
By the way, these photos are taken using my digital camera,Minolta DiMage Xt. Not the best ones. So not happy with result. Anyway, I'll post more later as soon as my mom send photos from hers! Hope they turned out great.
